RTN Ring Torsion Load Cell – Precise Weighing up to 470 Tons

The RTN ring torsion load cells are available for a wide range of capacities from 1 t up to 470 t. All versions combine compact dimensions with exceptional robustness, making them ideal for demanding industrial weighing applications.

With a high protection rating of IP68 / IP69K, RTN load cells are perfectly suited for container weighing systems, large platform scales, and truck scales, even in harsh environmental conditions.

Their unique design with ring-shaped strain gauges minimizes the influence of lateral forces and ensures extremely high measurement accuracy. High input resistance and low power consumption also allow their use in battery-powered weighing systems.

Numerous special versions are available, including IECEx / ATEX explosion-proof designs, temperature-resistant versions up to 110°C, and various cable lengths and cable types. A new version with an M12 connector is also available for variants with accuracy class 0.05.

RTN with Improved Performance

The heavy-duty RTN load cell series, proven for decades, has been further improved in the latest revision and equipped with new options. For example, it is now also available with a connector system for variants with accuracy class 0.05.

When used with KAB175 connection cables, the load cells automatically achieve IP68/IP69K protection once the connector is tightened. Additionally, the robust 6-wire cable is halogen-free, providing enhanced safety and durability.
