The Z6 bending beam load cell, developed by HBM in 1972, has been continuously optimized over decades. Based on proven strain gauge technology, it provides highly accurate and stable measurements for a wide range of weighing applications.

The Z6 load cell is available in nine capacity ranges from 5 kg to 1 t. Its distinctive design with a protective metal bellows protects the measuring element from moisture and environmental influences. With millions of units sold worldwide, the Z6 has become a recognized industry standard.

The load cell is widely used in platform scales, conveyor scales, dosing systems, level measurement systems, and weighing modules for tank weighing applications.

An explosion-proof version compliant with IECEx / ATEX standards is also available.
