iDimension® Plus System

iDimension® Plus is the ideal solution for speeding up workflows in intralogistics processes.

iDimension® Plus is designed to quickly and accurately measure the volume of parcels, envelopes, and manually handled objects, sharing data in real time with the company’s IT system.

It measures any package or object—even unpackaged items—in less than one second, displaying measurement data and images on the supplied 7-inch touchscreen display. With iDimension® Plus, the operator has everything under control.

Attention: Minimum and maximum measurable dimensions may vary depending on installation, type of scale, and mode of use (approved or internal use).

Measurement accuracy:

• ±5 mm for cartons and boxes

• ±10 mm for irregularly shaped packages, bags, and non-uniform objects using automatic detection

Measurement time: real-time detection (0.2 seconds)

TOP-OF-THE-LINE CAMERAS AND SENSORS

iDimension® Plus combines high-quality 3D imaging technologies with proprietary algorithms developed by Rice Lake to quickly and accurately measure the dimensions of any object, including irregular shapes.

This makes iDimension® Plus the fastest static dimensioning system in its class.

The system does not require precise positioning of the object, enabling process optimization and a significant increase in throughput.

Thanks to the integrated camera, iDimension® Plus records an overhead image of the measured object to ensure full traceability—essential in cases of disputes involving damaged parcels.

A 4K version is available for high-resolution colour images (2880 × 2160 pixels).
Via XML API integration, images can be shared with the company’s IT system in .bmp or .jpg format.

CONNECTABLE SCALES

iDimension® Plus can be connected to Dini Argeo RLT-200 and 3590 Touch Screen weight indicator series to add weight data to volume measurements.

The measuring and weighing station can also be equipped with a printer or label printer and barcode reader.

Note: The 3590 Touch Screen requires a dedicated program (AF-DIM) to communicate with iDimension® Plus.

Alternatively, Rice Lake Bench Pro compact scales can be connected for internal factory use, available in a basic version or with idle or ball roller conveyor.
