Design and Applications
KPZ 2A scales are manufactured with a galvanized chequered steel plate and equipped with galvanized steel protective fences, making them ideal for agricultural use as livestock scales. When selecting animal scales, it is important not only to consider safety features for weighing animals, but also an easy-to-use control indicator that simplifies daily operation.
High weighing accuracy makes the KPZ 2A suitable for applications in the food industry as well. Thanks to the use of heavy-duty load cells, the scale has no wear-prone components, which significantly reduces maintenance costs. Customers particularly value its exceptional durability, essential when weighing live animals.

Platform Construction
The platform is based on a welded steel frame with cross reinforcement and a solid chequered steel plate measuring 920 × 2200 mm, protected by galvanization (optional powder-coated or stainless steel version available).
The indicator cable has a length of 5 m and is mechanically protected on the scale side.
The low-profile design allows above-ground installation.
Steel protective fences with dimensions of approx. 920 × 1785 mm are securely mounted to the platform.
Optional Feature – Software
Intelligent Animal Weighing System (RFID)
The Scalescloud software enables automatic recording of animal weights and fully automated data collection. The system can be connected both to a new livestock scale or integrated with an existing one.
The weighing process uses RFID ear tags. An RFID antenna mounted on the scale automatically identifies the animal, triggers the weighing process, and records the result in the system, assigning it to a specific animal. Data can be accessed at any time via computer, tablet, or smartphone.
By automatically recording animal weights, you build a valuable database that supports informed decisions regarding feeding strategies, animal selection, and herd management, allowing you to manage livestock at the highest professional level.
